COVID-19 Protocols & Procedures 

Throughout the pandemic the Canadian government classified Nesda Technologies as an essential business, and we were fortunate to continue with our operations. All of our employees were given the opportunity and the choice to continue working from our physical office location and onsite for clients.


Our workspaces have been reconfigured in the office to allow at least 6’ for social distancing and partitions are placed between workstations. Every employee has their own station, is not permitted to use another person’s area, and must keep everything clean and disinfected with approved DIN products. The entire office is regularly wiped down, with high touch areas cleansed multiple times daily. 


 Nesda supplies and stocks each employee with PPE including hand sanitizers, gloves, masks, and disinfectant solutions. Technicians working onsite are provided with additional provisions to ensure the safety of all people on location. Our staff also wear masks in the office when they are away from their personal workspace and throughout the building our office is located in. It is mandatory for our techs to wear masks when providing onsite services or support for a client.


Regular staff meetings (at a safe distance) are held to discuss COVID updates, concerns and employee comfort levels. As new information and legislature is released, softcopies are emailed directly to our staff distribution list. Signage and postings are also hung around the office reminding everyone of our workplace protocols. 


When entering the Nesda office each person has their temperature taken and recorded. Staff answer screening questions daily and they are reminded regularly to self monitor for any COVID related symptoms. Clients visiting the office, which is a rare occurrence, must wear a mask, use hand sanitizer upon entrance, have their temperature taken, and answer the mandatory screening questions. 


Additionally, any equipment or packages received, are accepted outside of the office wearing proper PPE, placed in a holding zone, properly disinfected and the outer packaging is disposed. When clients receive their equipment from us, the items will always be cleaned and disinfected. 


Technicians visiting clients for services and support, have been instructed to follow the rules and protocols outlined for our office. While providing support and services for our clients is important, the health and safety of our employees takes priority and our techs have been advised they are to leave a work site if the client is not following protocols as stringently as Nesda Technologies Ltd.
